An HP-600 hotplate was installed at a Chinese customer. In addition to the hotplate, the customer also uses a SM-900 spin coater and a SMD-900 developer.

Application testing partnership with Shanghai University
Shanghai University (SHU-FPD), Key Laboratory of Advanced Display and System Applications could be won as a new application testing partner. From now on, application tests can be performed locally for our customers situated in Asia. The laboratory is equipped with a Hotplate HP-300 and a Spin Module SM-300.

High-tech company Sawatec AG lands a major order
In June 2014, the St. Galler Tagblatt reported that SAWATEC had received a large order from the Swiss watch industry.
The significance of the order for the company with seven employees was made clear by the statement of Managing Director Bruno Sawatzki: “In terms of francs, the volume is equivalent to a third of our annual turnover,” he said in response to an inquiry from the W&O. Initial negotiations with the major player in the watch market had already begun in 2007, and now the contract has been signed and sealed. Since the watch industry is a decidedly secretive sector, the client will not be communicated publicly.”
